Frozen Tab at the Loading Dock

The loading dock had one computer that froze whenever the scale ticket printer jammed. Staff learned to close the stuck window, clear the obvious state, and print once more — not twenty times.

If a page lies about its state, narrow what you click, try the raw URL once, and log the timestamp. Come back later if the remote end is returning 5xx.

HTML forms and the JSON API reach the same guestbook and orders. Use whichever your client handles cleanly.
