Scale Error at the Scale House and What To Do

When the scale house printed ERROR, we did not keep dumping grain on the belt. We zeroed the scale, checked the ticket, and tried one clean weigh.

Online: clear bad session state, capture the error string, retry once with a smaller step. Infinite loops burned diesel then and bandwidth now.

If the remote end is down, note the time and return. Flooded county roads taught the same patience.
